Leveraging AI to Individualize Education

The speaker will present an argument for why we should use AI to individualize education, adapting to the individual needs and progress of each learner. In particular, he will argue that video games can be an important platform for adaptively delivering educational content, and for assessing learners' knowledge. His talk will also highlight some of the obstacles that impede swift adoption, through an example of assessing young children's language skill.
